An Overview of Philippians

1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4 always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, 5 for your fellowship in the gospel from the f irst day until now… (Phil. 1:3-5, NKJV) 27 Only let your conduct be worthy of the Gospel of Christ…that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the Gospel…29 for to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake. (Phil. 1:27, 29, NKJV) 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. (Phil. 2:5-8, NKJV)
