Romans 5:1-5 1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the expectation of the coming glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, since we know sufferings produce perseverance; 4 and perseverance, approvedness; and approvedness, anticipation. 5 Now anticipation does not disappoint us, because the love of God is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
